Facebook’s Tech Summit is an annual event that brings 500 Facebook employees from throughout EMEA together to present, discuss and celebrate their diverse and impactful work.
The brief for this annual event is to ensure that we bring a sense of connection and collaboration – from a strong event brand identity all the way through to the attendee experiences and the memories we create together.
Meta approached us with the challenge of creating a brand that would not only look innovative and reflect the purpose of the Tech Summit on paper, but work as a fully integrated event brand on the main stage and all breakout areas.
We work each year to design a bespoke creative that successfully aligns with the contemporary event messaging and agenda.
At the last Tech Summit, we focused on the Penrose triangle – an impossible shape.
The motif of the Penrose triangle perfectly reflected and celebrated the seemingly impossible challenges that can be overcome when Facebook employees work together with fresh perspectives.
We crafted an end-to-end conference identity based on the triangle motif to become a beacon of the day, emanating from the central stage.
With ambitious design and well-executed creativity, we managed to take a standard internal conference and turn it into a visually stunning spectacle.
