CHALLENGE

Clarion Gaming sits at the heart of the gaming and gambling neighbourhood, championing businesses and keeping the entire industry connected, 365 days a year.

The jewel of its eventing year is ICE - where the world of gaming goes to do business. Held over three days in January 2025 at Fira Barcelona Gran Via, this huge event hosting 55,000 professionals from 170+ countries provides the complete platform to drive revenues through innovative solutions, technology, valuable insights and unrivalled networking opportunities.  

For 2025, their aim was to elevate the standard yet again by delivering a flawless and technologically advanced event, both preserving the event’s reputation of being the most ground-breaking in the industry as well as adapting this to a new larger venue overseas - with a key emphasis on elevating the ICE and iGB brands amongst the many exhibitors, keynote speeches and interactive experiences on show.

SOLUTION

We were tasked with leading the creative vision, construction and production of several areas of this vast show - from an outdoor welcome feature, immersive entrance tunnel area, through to traditional conferencing areas, chill out zones, presentation spaces and decorative features.  As per our “audience and client outcomes first” approach, we sought to put the tens of thousands of visitors and audience members at the heart of every experience, so they came away with lasting memories and strong intentions when it came to Clarion’s role in shaping and communicating the past, present and future of the gaming industry.

In addition, we were tasked with creating two areas for iGB Affiliate, which has its own show, brand, creative concept and audience, co-located alongside the wider ICE show.

Firstly, we created an entrance area easily identifiable with its brand, taking advantage of maximising its own concept before the audience moved onto its client stands and experiences. Secondly, we created an outdoor space called the “Oasis” - a market square/festival inspired hub filled with seating, food and drink offerings as well as two interactive activations, a DJ and a tattoo parlour.

We produced all digital, spatial and  graphic design, AV, technical production and build led by our in-house team and supported by our local partners in Barcelona and long term collaborators from the UK.
